This myth is growing at a higher pace among youngsters as they have created an ideology in their psyche that if they will choose a less developed or a remote area in order to appear for the ielts exam there is a high probability of them to score good bands. The reason is that as per their thinking, examiners give one band extra to those who belong to a backward area, which is not true at all.

This is a common myth among not only the aspirants of ielts but among ielts trainers also, as they offer a huge hand in creating a negative approach in student’s minds towards exams, being conducted by IDP or BC in last days of the month or the last exam of the month.
Pupils usually deny to fill paper on end dates of any month due to the fear of facing a hard level exam. Additionally, they feel like it’s not easy to earn desired scores from these exams.
6.MYTHOLOGICAL DIFFERENTIATION BETWEEN IDP OR BC: (IELTS 2020)
Although everyone knows that either IDP or BC, they both are just test conducting authorities being appointed by Cambridge university but there a hand full of people who think that IDP or BC itself prepare ielts exams and authenticate too. Moreover, they opine that BC’s paper is somehow easy than that of IDP, which is totally an incorrect conception.
As setting exams are not under the control of these two authorities however, they merely follow instructions being disseminated by Cambridge University to conduct a paper in many countries.
